About the Photographer: Jerry Tingle

Located in Dural, Australia. I have had a lifelong interest in photography and for the last 10 years I have been patiently building a portfolio. While I am English born and bred I have called Australia home for nearly 30 years. The local bushland, including our backyard, provides plenty of opportunities for me but when I travel so does my camera.

“Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others.”

— Jonathan Swift

Bio

An Australian photographer located in the NW of Sydney. My earliest images were in black and white captured using a box Brownie. Via a variety of analog SLRs I now use a Canon 50D and a 70-200mm lens.

I received a 'Commended' in the Architecture category in 'Australasia’s Top Emerging Photographers 2019' and two 'Commended' and a 'Highly Commended' in 'Australian Photography and Capture's' Mono awards for 2019.

Expertise

I am primarily interested in the image as captured by the camera and apart from cropping I seldom adjust my images.

As you will see from the examples here my interests are many and varied. Wildlife is my main interest, particularly birds. However I have an eclectic mix of other interests including art, architecture, companion animals and street furniture!

Work with Me

I would be delighted to assist with Photographic Art and will undertake commission work.

Would you like pictures of your Companion Animals?  If you are in, or near Sydney, I will come to you. I've worked with the usual subjects - dogs, cats and birds but will take on any challenge, if you can assure my safety!
